Meet Rob

Rob began his fitness career in 1994 as a graduate of Western Michigan University. Since then, he has worked with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, from athletes to those who are disabled. His passion is to help other realize and achieve goals beyond their own expectations. This experience has given him the drive to create a program that can now come to you!

A State of Michigan Massage Therapist and Cranial Sacral Specialist.  With over a decade of extensive experience in a Physiatry Specialty office serving complicated serious injury clients, Kim has expertise that includes; quadriplegia, paraplegia, amputee, Rods/Pin/Fusions, implants, ports, brain injury, migraine, PTSD, Autism, Cancer, Hospice, Hope Network, grief, pre/post operation readiness, Lymph work, couples and prenatal care.  She also has additional Upledger Institute training in cranial sacral therapy.  She uses numerous modalities/devices such as Glide Cupping, Sound Energy and is a Reiki Master.  She has experience in Medi-Spa, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy offices.  Kimberly is grounded, positive and works gently to achieve relaxing results.

Personal Trainer

Kathy is a retired orthopedic physical therapist.  She had a long career both as a professor and a sports medicine/orthopedic specialist.  She is now bringing her experience to work with clients of all ages and ability levels.  Outside of training, she enjoys Pickleball, hiking and kayaking.

Personal Trainer

Valarie has a love of mindful movement and the natural world, is a Foodie and Plant Junkie.  She loves sharing restorative and fun health practices.  Valarie is a trained Chef as well as a Master Gardener and Mom to two busy teens.  When not instructing fitness, she’s out working in her greenhouse with her two French Bulldogs or playing in Clay at the KIA.

Molly is a Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, she has been helping people become healthier and stronger for 9 years. She has experience working with people of all ages and fitness levels and enjoys educating others about the importance of functional strength, injury prevention, and biomechanics through not only strength disciplines, but also Pilates and yoga principles.

Sports are what started Kara’s love for fitness! High school and collegiate athletics are what made her realize the importance of strength training and healthy eating habits.

Her wealth of knowledge grew when she became a parent and began navigating the importance of a balanced lifestyle. 

A year long recovery from a running injury is what “sealed the deal on fitness as a career”. 

Kara has a passion for helping and encouraging her clients on their fitness journey.  It’s never too late to start something new!

Jillian started her career as a certified personal trainer in 2007. In her spare time she enjoys running, home decorating, and woodworking. Her passion for fitness and wellness began in 2004, when she discovered her love for running. Since then, she has participated in many half marathons and placed in countless 5k races. She has helped many of her peers to achieve their own fitness goals along the way. She found participating in their lifestyle changes to be so rewarding, that she knew she must build a career out of it to reach more people who are eager to better their lives. She believes that establishing a lifestyle with healthy motivation, wholesome eating habits, and a good variety of consistent and well-directed exercise, everyone can achieve their goals and become the very best versions of themselves.

Justin has studied fitness, yoga and holistic health for over 27 years. He earned his personal training certification in 2007.  He has been a
personal trainer since that time, working with all age groups and fitness levels, but often focusing on the senior population.  His

Mike is an advocate of movement and aspires to help people of all ages and abilities be active and live healthy lifestyles.  He has worked with a variety of people, from younger children to seniors, athletes and many who just seek more fitness as a part of their lives.  He believes it’s never too early or too late to start working toward your goals.  When he’s not training, he enjoys the beach, riding his bike, hiking and live music.

Nicole graduated from WMU with a degree in Occupational Therapy and Spanish.  She ran track for two years at the collegiate level and has always  had an interest in physical fitness and helping others reach their fitness goals.  She enjoys working with people of all ages and
abilities but has a special interest in helping to promote independent living and safety for our aging population.

Dietician

Theresa’s passion is nutrition and thrives off helping people feel empowered by their eating choices.  She grew up just outside Detroit and attended Michigan State University for undergrad and earned a Masters in Nutrition form University of Illinois-Chicago.  She has lived in Kalamazoo and worked at Three Rivers Health for the past 6 years.  She loves to teach people how to set and achieve their nutrition goals and is grateful for the opportunity to help those in our community.
